We are delighted to announce the appointment of Abi Misselbrook-Lovejoy as the new Director of Education at Tenax Schools Trust.
Abi is a highly experienced and hugely successful school and system leader. She is currently an executive headteacher in north London. Abi is also an Ofsted inspector, executive coach and provides school improvement support to different London boroughs.

Her track record in securing great educational outcomes for vulnerable pupils will be invaluable to us. Abi has the skill set but also the interpersonal qualities that will take our trust from strength to strength’.
Joining us in June 2025, Abi will work closely with our headteachers to lead our primary school improvement strategy, including curriculum development. Abi will also bring her expertise to the wider regional trust work of Kent Teaching School Hub, and Teach Kent & Sussex teacher training.
Commenting on her appointment, Abi said ‘I am very much looking forward to joining Tenax in June. Tenax has so much potential. It is doing many good things but I share Mark’s and the Board’s view, that we can do so much more and achieve great things.’
